Chung's gold medals in the Thailand Open include men's singles 19+ Advanced, men's doubles 19+ Advanced, and mixed doubles 19+ Advanced categories solidify his position as the number one men's singles player in Taiwan.


Chung's exceptional performance throughout the tournament showcased his athleticism, strategic prowess, and unwavering determination, highlighting his dominance in the sport. His recent achievements build upon impressive performances earlier in the year in the 2023 men's singles 19+ Open, men's doubles 19+ Open, and mixed doubles 19+ Open categories, where he secured bronze medals. “Becoming number one in Taiwan was my first goal since switching to pickleball from tennis” said Willy Chung. “The most supportive people behind me are my family and fans. At the moment, I have no signing sponsorships. I hope to find someone who believes in me.”
